The Lumiere Scholars Essay Award invites high school students to examine issues that matter to them, cross disciplinary lines, test assumptions, and defend their arguments with rigorous evidence.
The list of essay prompts will be shared over email after successfully completing this registration form.
Essay entries are reviewed by our Academic Advisory Committee, an international panel of distinguished professors and researchers.
Six winners (one gold, two silvers, three bronzes) will share more than $11,000 in cash prizes and scholarships to join the Lumiere Research Scholar Program.
Registration fee: Free until Nov 30 (then $5 until Dec 20).
Early bird bonus: Additional $100 on top of your final scholarship award if you register before Oct 25.
